HOW I USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

I do all I can to manage and protect your data, which I store only for specific purposes such as to provide you with up to date information on your counseling appointments or to send you invoices and e-mails with booking or cancelation information or requested reading materials or articles. I always ask you what is your preferred mode of contact. With your consent, I would also retain potentially sensitive information on your health and wellbeing. This is treated as strictly confidential information and is kept anonymously. It will only be disclosed anonymously for supervision purposes and in special cases and with specific written authorization for the purpose of writing and presenting a case study for a post-graduation course in Psychotherapy that I will attend from October 2018.

WHAT INFORMATION I HOLD AND WHAT I DO WITH IT

I hold your personal details such as full name and contact details. I also hold mental, physical and well-being information which you shared with me and gave me consent to hold so as to have access to your biographical history. These notes will help me to offer you the best counsel I can and will enable me to reflect and keep a record of the theme of our conversations and of my interventions. These notes will contain your name without your surname and in some cases your initials. I will NOT share your information with anyone else other than my supervisor, and as material for case studies in a post graduation course, in both cases, the information will be shared anonymously. In the possibility that I share your information anonymously for a case study I will ask for your written consent and will explain to you the necessity and benefits of a case study. I may also be required to share information for legal purposes.
